Our business revolves around performance analysis and creating an objective analysis of performance, providing a simple and digestible view into performance with the aim of creating greater opportunities for athletes, clubs, leagues, and other stakeholders in the football ecosystem. Whether you are a player sharing information with us directly, a club sharing information on your players, a league sharing information on players within your clubs or a federation, we will share player information through our Services. If you do not wish to have your personal information shared, you must notify us to remove your personal information. If you are a club, league or federation sharing personal information of your stakeholders with us, you represent and warrant that all player personal information you have shared with us is in compliance with the applicable Privacy Laws.

Information We Collect From You

We will collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us or provide to us by an authorized third party. This is information about you that you give us by filling out forms on our site www.gg8sports.com (“our site”), by providing information to us through our applications, uploading electronic media (including, but not limited to, match video), or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information that you provide when registering as a user of our Service or which you have authorized a third party such as your club or your league to provide to us. This information includes, but may not be limited to, your name, date of birth, image and likeness, photographs and video of your matches, address, email address and other contact information. It also includes information you provide when you participate in social media functions as part of our Service and when you report a problem with our Service (if applicable).

 

Information We Collect About You.

With regard to each use of our Service, we will automatically collect the following information:

  • Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, device ID and type, the operating system used by your device and access times.
  • Information about your use of our Service, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call us.

We do this to store your preferences and track your use of our app. Unlike cookies, device IDs cannot be deleted, but Advertising IDs can be reset in “Settings” on your Phone.

If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail, through our application or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you. If you are a new customer, and where we permit selected third parties to use your data, we (or they) will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this. If you do not want us to use your data in this way, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes, please tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data (the registration form);
  • To notify you about changes to our Services; and
  • To ensure that content from our Service is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

As we mentioned above, the distribution of player information is a core function of our business. If you are a player and you submit your information to us (or if you are a club and you submit information about one of your players), we will share that information with other clubs that we believe will be interested in your player availability.

  • Any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.
  • Selected third parties including:
  • Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you or any third party who you have authorized to share your personal information with us;
  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our site;

We will disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

How Long We Store Your Data

We only keep your personal information for as long as it’s necessary for our original legitimate purpose for collecting the information and for as long as we have your permission to keep it. We will delete your personal information when you delete your account by emailing dataprivacy@gg8sports.com. When we delete your personal information, we may retain anonymized versions of data we have obtained but such information will not include personally-identifying information.

Your Rights

We will ensure that your personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently and that it will only be processed if at least one of the following bases applies:

  • You have given your clear consent to the processing of your personal data for a specific purpose.
